Log times, fuel, and Hobbs for a leg

Record optional Out/Off/On/In times, fuel, and Hobbs for each flight leg, right from the trip page; they print as a flight log page on the invoice.
Help Center · Trips

Each flight leg can carry an optional log. Record only what you have.

Add a log from the trip page (quickest)

Open the trip. In Trip Details → Flight Legs & RON, each leg has an Add log button on the right. Tap it, fill in what you have, and tap Done — it's saved straight away, no need to open Edit Trip. Handy for logging each day as you fly.

The window closes only once the log is saved. If saving fails (patchy FBO wifi, say), you'll see "Could not save the flight log. Please try again." and what you typed stays in the window — tap Done again.

Once the trip's invoice has been sent or paid, logs can't be changed from the trip page, because they print on that invoice. Revise the invoice first if a log needs fixing.

Add a log while creating or editing the trip

  1. On a trip's Flight Legs & RON section (in New Trip or Edit Trip), tap Add flight log under a leg.
  2. Fill in any of:
  • Times in Zulu (UTC), as 4 digits like 1330: Time Out, Time Off, Time On, Time In. CrewRoo calculates Block (Out to In) and Flight (Off to On), including past midnight.
  • Fuel, in lbs or gal: Fuel Out, Uplift, Fuel In, and Fuel Burn. Burn fills itself in as Out + Uplift − In; type over it to override.
  • Hobbs: Hobbs Out and Hobbs In, with Hobbs Time calculated.
  1. Tap Done.
  2. Save the trip. The log isn't stored until you save — a banner reminds you: "Flight log changes are not saved yet — save the trip to keep them."

Once logged, the leg shows a green summary like "Block 1:50 · Burn 1,900 lbs". Tap it to change the log. To remove it, tap Clear Log in the dialog, then Tap again to clear to confirm.

On the invoice

If any leg has a log, the invoice PDF automatically gets a landscape FLIGHT LOG page listing each leg's times, fuel, and Hobbs with totals.

Common messages

  • "Enter a 4-digit Zulu time, e.g. 1330" — use four digits, no colon.
  • "Time Off must be at or after Time Out", "Time In must be at or after Time Out", and similar — the times are out of order. A leg that runs past midnight Zulu is fine.
  • "Fuel In is more than Fuel Out plus Uplift" — check the fuel numbers.
  • "Hobbs In must be at or after Hobbs Out".
